Every Wednesday, at the Santa Monica Promenade, farmers and other agricultural merchants gather to sell their produce and products. Fruits are so fresh you can eat it right there and not be afraid of getting sick. Leafy vegetables look so crisp and shiny. Carrots and beets and chards create a rainbow of brilliant hues. Anyone seeing those won't be able to stop imagining how he will create his own salads. It is only in farmers markets like this that you can find tender green and butter asparagus side by side with orange, yes, orange beets. And I thought beets come only in purple!
By the way, anyone for Brussel sprouts and radish?
Have fun with Wordless Wednesday participants here!
