Today is our first-born's birthday. I still remember that day.
It was 10:30 pm. when I told hubby it was time. Calmly, he went to a nearby store so he could call the doctor. Still calmly, he hailed a passenger jeepney and off we hied to the hospital.
A precious baby, that's what my doctor told me this baby is going to be.
All our babies are, but with Lester, we thought he would never come. I had to be under my doctor's careful watch for a whole six months before Lester eventually "showed" signs he was there to be our first.
Even in birth, he had his own timing. Instead of pushing faster and more often to the minute, he decided to push slower and slower until they decided I should deliver him CS style.
And he has been ever precious from his first cry. Keeping him even more precious is his beloved wife, Rachelle.
Happy birthday, Lester.
