We were happy.....

Everything went well with the Breakfast Burritos. I was totally surprised by the effort they put into plating their finished product! Quite a change and improvement, I might say. My only regret was I didn't bring my camera to remind me of how happy we all were. Today the Culinary Arts Club started preparing for tomorrow's Food Faire while my classes were busy practicing their knife techniques - well, actually they were just pretending to be cutting/slicing something on the cutting board. The emphasis was on how to handle and grip the knife properly. (Tomorrow, they will cut real frutis and vegetables). And again, they impressed me with their performance. I believe there is that good sign of what the semester is going to be.

Those knife skills always look so impressive! I think maybe if I learned that, I would feel like a better chef... although I do love to cook.

Breakfast burritos.. yum!

That's how I feel, too, Yvonne! Thanks for the visit and for the Writers Cafe weekend. I can see that you really love to cook just basing it on the wealth of great goodies you offer. Another busy weekend for you, right?
LOL.

Hi, Rachel, Yes and I hope it lasts until the very last day of the sem. If only I could foresee beyond today, I could make some magic with my prepping. I'm keeping my fingers crossed everyday.
