Today, hubby and I went with our second son to his boys' school. He had been looking forward to my joining the unemployeds, by the way. Today he gave us a dry run of what we need to do when we take the grandkids to school. Rule 1: we have to be early or we will walk half a mile to the gate. Rule 2: we have to be at the designated gate or the little boy won't be let in. Rule 3: we have to make eye-contact with the teacher or else she won't release the little boy to us.
We are just too happy that we can drop and pick up the bigger boy as we used to.
